The length count of threads is 100 and the breadth count is 100 in the weaving process of Uppada Silk sarees. This Dark Green coloured saree with perfectly blending Gold coloured border and Pink pallu is light weight and easy to wear

It would be interesting to know that this natural colour hand woven uppada saree has a 300 year old history and the Uppada Silk is named after a small beach town of Uppada in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, India. Uppada sarees were the favorites of the royalties of the times and the traditional weaving method is still followed for creating this exquisite piece
