Product Description:
Originating from Gadwal in Andra Pradesh, the traditional weaving pattern of Gadwal sarees has a fine blend of ethnicity and modern designing-concepts.
Once, some weavers from Gadwal were sent to Banaras by the king to learn the art of weaving of this particular style. The outcome was hand woven variety of Gadwal sarees that became immensely popular.
Gadwal sarees has interwoven threads, traditionally known as ‘Kupadam’ on the body and ‘Kumbam’ on the border. The designs and colours are adapted from temples and nature. This Hand woven Gadwal Silk saree exhibits the beautiful combination of Magenta and Royal Blue color with a hint of Gold colored motifs.
